Bob received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida in 1978. Bob began his work in accounting with one of the "Big 4" firms over 45 years ago before becoming a shareholder with Hacker, Johnson, Cohen & Grieb, P.A. in 1985. Bob is a founding shareholder of the firm. He and Rob Cohen formed the firm of Cohen & Grieb, P.A. on September 14, 2000.

Bob is a CPA and a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a past chairman of the FICPA Committee for the Florida Institute on Federal Taxation, past president of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, and a member of the Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council.  Additionally, he is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Tampa, and the Tampa Chamber of Commerce.

Bob has significant experience in providing tax services, accounting services, business consulting, and financial planning for closely-held entities and their owners. Bob also has extensive experience in providing estate, gift, and trust tax services. Bob has performed many business valuations, has provided litigation support, and has served as an expert witness on a number of litigation cases.
